I was surfing the net and checking on what is the trend going on the Internet. In order to understand the trend on the Internet, I went to check on what are the most searched words on the Internet. It occurs to me that the word "Friv" has over 6,000 queries for the past 30 days.

I was surprised at first because I do not even know what the word means. So I went to made a search on the word and found it to be a provider of games.

Just by looking at the page itself, there is easily hundreds of games to choose from.

Unfolding Fiona Xie Sex Video Scandal

This is known as 'clickjacking'. Inducing the visitors to click on something which they were made believed to be which they are not.

As traffic becomes more and more like valued and money worth commodity on the Internet, this is what people will do to get those clicks. Here is one very recent example which Fiona Xie becomes a victim.

In the latest such scam, a picture of Fiona Xie sitting in a bathtub is accompanied by a message reading:

"Fiona Xie. Is she REALLY as innocent as she looks?

"Private sexual videos of famous Singapore celebrities here. Only enter if you are 18 years old and above."

The scam tricks users into believing that one of their friends have ‘Liked’ the message and prompts them to click further.

The click takes the browser to a webpage which uses the clickjacking technique to fool users into unknowingly saying they ‘Like’ the page as well.

Facebook users are advised to review their wall posts carefully before clicking. They should also check their recently-installed Facebook applications to avoid being victimised.

This website was created on 13 Oct 07 and I really wondered how many people had actually signed up and ended themselves with the same product to sell. As you can see from the website, it is the same old housewife story of not having enough money to live by before starting out.

I know for sure whoever it is, Rosalind or Irene, they are making money out of people who signed up. Those signed up are also making money out from this scheme.

And another thing, this scheme although shrewd, but it is not amounting to an offence of cheating. People signed up and there is disclaimer that people fail to read. It is considered as buying a product from the seller. An agreement has already been entered. The only thing you could do is to sue the owner with a lawyer. But sue who? Well, I do not think it is easy to even get the real person who had sold this package to you.

I personally recommend go straight to click bank and get product to sell if you are at all interested in marketing online product. This way, you do not have to pay Rich Sg money to learn all these. What you do is sell somethings that you did not create or possess by linking it to your proposed advertisements or website. You will get a cut depending on the product which ranged from 25% and higher. So Singaporean, get smart and do it yourself without paying to learn the hard way.
