Personally, I feel there is nothing wrong to show your love and affection in public view. I guess the level of tolerance in Singapore community should increase to a certain extend. This is perfectly acceptable in the western community.
But I also opined that STOMP has more and more boring and less interesting post nowadays. The post were either some declaration of love or boring news such as this.

This teenage couple were spotted hugging and kissing on an MRT train, much to the displeasure of other commuters. The guy even had his hand on the girl's bum at one point.
STOMPer Jason commented on their behaviour in public:
"Parents these days don't seem to discipline teens, or educate them about sex .
"These teens become bad examples to others, kissing and hugging in public trains in front of staring people."
