SG Celebrity Blogger Xiaxue's post on Facebook on her opinion of Election for web traffic?
WHAT SHE wants is blog traffic, says one 'forummer' of CNA Market Talk.
Being a frequent follower of Singapore's most active Singapore Stock Discussion Forum, Channel News Asia - Market Talk, I often find many interesting posts by 'forummers'. It reflects how the general Singaporeans thinks about the economy, stock markets and the recent hot topic, Singapore General Election 2011 (SG GE 2011).
I then stumble upon this thread, SHAME ON YOU SINGAPOREANS! SAYS XIAXUE
Personally, I am only interested in news or discussions that contain substances (Intellectually speaking), but as most of the interesting posts had already been read, I took a look inside. this post made by Xiaxue. The comments given by the 'forummers' were very funny, interesting and agreeable.
What happened is that Xiaxue, a girl talks about how Singaporeans being ungrateful to Singapore's MM and mentioned in her post that 'No matter what a shitty job the PAP is doing now, it remains that a lot of their members have dedicated a big part of their lives to building everything we have today.' What 'remains' is she talking about? I think she means, the fact remains. Anyway, from her post, it was discerned that she seems to be very unhappy that Nicole Seah, a candidate from NSP (SG GE 2011) has more 'Facebook Likes' than MM.
I mean, I respect the MM too and agree on the part about what he did for Singapore, putting the nation together during difficult times, but why insult fellow Singaporeans for this? Does the difference in Facebook 'Likes' between the two really warrants an insult (With vulgarity) to fellow Singaporeans? Come on, many celebrities have hundred thousands of Likes.
