I was pleased to received the June 2009 GroundReport payment. Along with the payment was the explanation why there was no payment for the unique visits for the month of April and May 2009. The explanation as follows:
"Dear GroundReport Contributor, Thank you for your invaluable news reporting over the past several months. This payment payment is based on your work in June. Unfortunately, with the advertising market hit hard, and because of the significant improvements made to GroundReport over April and May, there were no profits to share for those months. We apologize for the furlough and are excited to return to profit sharing. We truly appreciate your patience and contributions, and look forward to your future work. Many thanks, GroundReport Team"
It was really unknown for the past few months what was happening to GroundReport as there were no payments. But GroundReport is a genuine freelance community liberalized jornalism website and I have great faith in this website. So I did not worry and kept on writing. And now, GroundReport is back to normal into revenue sharing again. So there is nothing to worry about and lets continue share our news with the rest of the world.
